For further spiritual nourishment, everyone is encouraged to study the weekly sermon text in more depth by engaging with the sermon summary and discussion questions.  These resources can be accessed by clicking on the buttons below:

SMALL GROUPS --- All are encouraged to meet virtually through Facebook video conferencing on the internet.  The suggested curriculum is the sermon discussion questions (see above).  Each small group leader has been emailed detailed instructions for how to set this up.

PARKING LOT PRAYER - Please watch the video below about how we can bless the doctors and nurses of local hospitals by showing up, staying in our cars, and praying!

MASKS --- there is a tremendous shortage of protective masks for our local medical employees and first responders. FPC member, Betsy Canevari, is making masks from her home. If you would like to help, please call the church the church office (863-465-2742). At this point, the greatest needs are: 1) 1/8 or 1/4 inch elastic (perhaps, you have a stash at home) and 2) sewers willing to make the masks (Betsy will provide you with a tutorial). This is a way for FPC to be a blessing to our community.

MISSIONS AND OUTREACH --- next team meeting is this coming Monday, March 30th, at 6:30 PM through the Zoom virtual platform.

ELDERS --- next session meeting is this coming Tuesday, March 31st, at 6:30 PM.  Please watch your texts for whether this meeting is in person or virtual.

If you know of anyone who is in the hospital or nursing home, please call the church office to let the pastors know so they can be included in prayer.  We encourage you to pray for, call, or send cards to those who are hospitalized, or homebound.  It will certainly make a difference in their lives to know that someone cares and is praying for them.  This ministry is especially important since visits are not currently an option.

MAUNDY THURSDAY, GOOD FRIDAY, AND EASTER --- for now, these services at FPC are on hold.  On March 31st, the elders plan to meet to reassess the virus situation.

CONGREGATION AND WINTER VISITORS --- we are putting together some volunteers with specific skills to assist with the church campus and grounds. (Light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping and so on.) Randy Gilde will be leading this team and will follow up with you directly.  If you can help in anyway, please call Cindy in the office at 863/465-2742.
