GREETINGS and WELCOME to this service in celebration and worship of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  If you are a visitor, we extend a special welcome to you, and invite you to make First Presbyterian Church your church home.  We receive members by profession of faith in Jesus Christ, by reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ, and by transfer of membership from another Christian congregation.  Please ask one of the pastors or an elder for more information or call the church office, at 863-465-2742.

NURSERY OPEN-- For the 8:00, 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday morning worship services, for ages 3 years and under.  Temperature checks will be taken.  No symptoms nor fever of 100.4+ will be accepted for the safety of all children.

If you know of anyone who is in the hospital or nursing home, please call the church office to let the pastors know so they can be visited and included in prayer.  We encourage you to pray for, call, or send cards to those who are hospitalized, or homebound.  It will certainly make a difference in their lives to know that someone cares and is praying for them.

MISSION DINNER--Our denomination’s modern, specialist driven, 200 bed capacity Christian Hospital in Sahiwal, Pakistan has been a beacon of gospel hope and light to

a dark Muslim world for over a century.  Dr. Keith Ackerman, along with the support of his wife, Rhoda, has faithfully led a staff of doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrators there for several years.  Through this team, God has chosen to provide the physical healing ministry of Christ to the local community.  In addition, every time a patient (estimated at 40,000 per year) comes through the hospital’s doors, he/she receives the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed.  It has been a privilege and a joy for FPC to partner --- both financially and prayerfully --- with this ministry.  By video, come hear firsthand the amazing things that the Lord continues to do through Christian Hospital.  A missions dinner has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 3rd, at 6:30 PM in the Genesis Center.  Soon, look for opportunities to sign up for the evening through your small group, the church’s bulletin, and the church’s website.  An opportunity to financially invest in this ministry will be given at the dinner.  Thanks in advance for your support!

PERSONAL NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT MINISTRY- During this time of sheltering in place, our especially vulnerable FPC brothers and sisters in Christ, who reside at home, in nursing homes, or in Assisted Living Facilities, need to know that their church family loves them.  One way we can do this is by mailing them personal notes of encouragement.  A list of these folks, along with their mailing addresses, is available in the church office.

GIVING ENVELOPES---2021 envelopes here and ready to be picked up in the north foyer.  If you currently do not have an assigned set of envelopes and are interested in using envelopes for giving, please call the church office at 863/465-2742.  We will be glad to assign you your own set of envelopes to use throughout the year.
